Sandy returned Aug. 17 from a
two-week trip to Hawaii where
they visited their son, Staff
Sergeant Rawley Bums, USAF,
whom they had not seen for
four years.
Sgt. Bums, serving with the
Air Force Pacific Security
Region, has been stationed in
the Philippines and Vietnam
for the last four years. He now
on duty at Wheeler Air Base in
Oahu. Medals and awards he
has received include two
commendation medals and
three oak leaf clusters for
outstanding work in his line of
duty.
