Harper has been a TV and ra d io fa v o rite o f Portland youngsters for more than 15 years. M ore than 100.000 youngsters from the area have visited the KGW-TV studios to watch him put on his show. He has a p p e a re d at numerous rodeos, fairs and other public events throughout the Pacific Northwest, and never fails to get a rousing reception when he and Jody take part in Portland’s annual Rose Festival parade. Harper is a combat veteran o f World War II, where he made three major invasions and participated in six campaigns. J Airman Roger A. Lang son o f Mr. and Mrs. Harry E.
