Bercier, 20, son o f Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bercier, Rt. 3, Sandy, was assigned as a heavy construction specialist in the 69th Engineer Battalion near Can Tho, Vietnam, March 5. The Bull Run P.T.A. will meet Thursday evening, April 3 at 8 p.m. This is an important meeting because there w ill be an election o f officers for next year. We will have it in the library as soon as we can obtain a copy. This book will be a much needed addition to our collection o f books about Oregon and the Northwest. Don Lowe is an ex Sandy High School hoy and this is the second book we know o f that was written by a former Sandy High boy, the first having been “ Stone Age on the Columbia River” by Emory Strong. The bride elect, a 1965 graduate o f Sandy high school, graduated this year from Oregon College of Education and is employed as an elementary school teacher. A student at OCE, her fiance, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Leo Enz of Rt. 3, Boring, also graduated from Sandy high school in '65 and recently returned from England where he served as a missionary for the LDS Church. The wedding is planned for June 14 in the Sandy Community Presbyterian Church.
