Newham o f Rt. 2, Boring, is serving aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Lynde McCormick o ff the coast o f Vietnam. Moving w ithin one mile from shore, the ship destroyed five enemy buildings, damaged th re e others, destroyed a bunker and ignited a fire in the same area.
