Wedding Vows Said in Community Church In a double ring evening c e re mony Sept. 24 in the Commun ity Presbyterian church,Sandy, Linda Marie Gratreak became the bride of Lindsey H. Duncan. The Rev. Now the election is over and we can settle down to justcom - planung about how our vote, evidently, didn’t do any good. Depending on how one feels about the diflerent people and issues. Some of each, I pre sume. Besides, we have re ceived our tax statements, ugh' and Thanksgiving is com ing, and right after that is Christinas. Just hate to wait until January to complain, don’t have enough time before then. Jerry Radmilovich called to say they had found the camper, oft her pick-up, but not the pick-up, as yet. No doubt they dumped it off so they would be harder to identify. The camper was found up on the Still Creek road, on one of the bridges. It was, evidently, just shoved oil the pickup, and some of the jacks are missing lor it. Noestimateof tliedamage as yet. We had as our guests, this past week-eml. Marjorie Walk er of Berkeley. and Wilma Man uel ol Oakland. Outside of our immediate family on the Bis- torious side. Marj and Wilma, our cousins, are the only r e lations we have. It is the first time my mother has seen them lor 40 years, and the first time they have ever been in this part ol the world. Inspiteol the rain, they are quite taken with this part. Think it would be an ideal spot tu retire in. Just sorry they weren’t here long enough to give them a real Cooks tour. The regular dinner meeting of the Hood-Land Chamber of Commerce will be tonight, Thursday, at Bowman’s Mt. Hood Golf club. Dinner at 7 p.m. at $2 per person. There will be two guest speakers: Mr. Lester, of the BLM, will speak on the new park at Wild wood and Mr. Halloway, from the Fish A Game Com mission, on stocking of the stream s, etc. Visitors wel come.
