Thur»., Jan. I», 1967 (Sac. 1) THE SANDY (Ore.) ROST Hood-Land Happenings / Woodland By nell howe ì ¡Cl th I 3 / ¡otcS Reporter By Ht» SNOOPER Have to admit that my grand daughter was a delight to baby sit for. I actually think she had as much fun as we did. But by the end of the week she was lonesome for her own family, and was very happy to return home. Sure is quiet around here. At this writing, Milt Foot is still in the hospital, but do hope he will be able to return home very soon. Cathy and Leighton Durr were in an automobile accident last week and Cathy had to spend a couple of days in the hospital again. However, nothing ser- iews, Just bruised and badly bent, but she is able to go on working. Anna Mitchell has been in and uit d the hospital and coming along fine. Sards Ferraris still down, but by no means out. In fact he Ls talking about going back to work, and that is a good indication of returning health. Had quite a surprise last week when I received a long distance call from Charlie Side bottom in Lancaster, Pennsyl vania. Back there he is known to his radio fans, and TV fans, as Chuck Raymord. Said he Just called to chat, and find exit about the local guys and gals that he went to school with. Was a most enjoyable con versation, doubly so, because I wasn’t paying for it. We must have talked for about 20 or 30 minutes. He said to say hello to his many friends in these parts. If you haven’t had the op portunity to visit the Piano Bar at Barlow, be sure and plan to do so in the very near future. With Beet at the piano, with his enjoyable music, you will find it a most pleasant way to spend the evening. It is wonderful to listen to music that it is possible to be able to tell what it is.
