The Tigers stormed to a 21-8 first period advantage lead by Steve Amunisen ani held off two furious second half ral lies paced by Ron Verdoorn and Ron Williams at 43-40 in the third quarter and 50-47 in the final period. It was the second straight loss for the Pioneers as it evened their record to 2-2 on the season.
