With tlw ball resting on die 18, quarterback Mat Christainson then hit John Gooney for 17 yards who was knocked out of bounds at the 1, where Craig Hill carried it across. Tom Galluzzo closed out Jesuit's scoring just before the ervl of the first half on a 4- yard run as it was again set up on 17 yard ¡/ass from Christlainson to Gooney. After a Crusader drive had been stopped on the Pioneer 4, Glen Danewood took a pitch-out and rambled 96 yards, only to have it called back on a dis puted clljiping call that for most of the people in the stands Including myself appeared to be a perfect block. Sandy got on the scoreboard again with 4:48 to go in the final period following a Jesuit mistake of‘what down it was’on a fourth and 10 situation from their own 5-yard Une a pass fell incomplete apparently John Stopefel sub signal caller had thought It was only third down and went ahead with the pass. The Pioneers had another long gainer called back late in the game as Sliger on a beautiful run raced 46 to the 15 but It was nullified by an off side penalty. Wack, the state’s leading scor er, looked awfully good against Sandy last week. The Dalles was beaten badly by Parkrose last week and Jesuit should do the same. Parkrose arr Canby --Wln- iess Canby has no chance in this one. Steve Jones who has thrown 15 TD tosses so far tops in the state will probably add some to that and that alone is enough for victory over hap less Canby. Brent Peterson and Roger Williams scored two touch- downs apiece In leading the undefeated Sandy Freshman to a 33-0 drubbing of Silverton Thursday. Peterson's sweeps for long yardage and William's power running guided Sandy down the field. Jay Beaudoin scored Sandy’s final TD. DELBERT COFFMAN Prediction Record 21-4 .840 Pct. Sandy over Silverton -- The Pioneers have been routed by powerhouses Parkrose and Jesuit In their last two outings and probably will be hungry. The Foxes finally won one, 12-6, over Molalla last week and would love to win another but if Sandy unleashes some of those fireworks like they did against Jesuit at times last week. They should win in a close one. Reynolds over Molalla — The Lancers walked over a not too bad Wy’east time last week and shouldn’t have any trouble with lowly Molalla who was beaten by Silverton last week 12-6. If the Indians don't play a great game, there’d be no contest. Wy’east over Estacada -- The Golden Eagles have to be favored in this one although losing last week to Reynolds. Estacada just squeaked out a 7-0 win over winless Canby. "Hie Rangers just don’t have enough firepower to beat Wy ’east. TRIM TRIO Oct. 14 W L Sandy Post 16 8 Happy House 14 to Mt.
