ART NEWS
The Sandy Art Group have
had several summer meetings.
Mrs. Alta Snow, Mrs. Viola
Simmons, Mrs. Edna Lawson,
Mrs. Violet Fisher and Mrs.
Lillian TenEyck have en-
tertal ned the group
at their
homes and on Sept. 8th, Mrs.
Carrie Hickey welcomed us
right royally at her attractive
home. Water colors and oils
were the order at the day and
at the coffe>- break, the hostess
served a delicious surprise
luncheon. It was decided then
that it would be a good idea
to call a meeting tor the last
ci the month to work out plans
for the fall and winter. The
group feels that there are no
d«ibt many art hungry souls
who would like to join a class
but hesitate to do so for fear
they can't do as well as others.
But the only thing required is
to have fun trying and to really
love this form of relaxtion.
Great characters have found it
so, for Instance, Ex-President
Eisenhower, Sir Winston Chur
chill and Red Skelton to name
but a few.
If the group fe< Is that they
would prefer a formal teacher
besides the help that they can
give each other, no doubt one
can be found.
The meeting will be Monday,
September 26, from 10 a.m.
to 2 p.m. at the Woman’s Club
Hall in Sandy, Bring a sack
lunch.

Plant these two feet firmly on the bathroom

him to check out the luxury, cleanliness and
carefree comfort of flameless electric heat now
available at bargain prices. For example, a 9
KVV two-zone heating system can be com
pletely installed for as little as $3 89 per month
—or a 12 KW baseboard system can be in
stalled for as low as $8.33 per month on PGE's
Easy-Pay Financing Plan. And the nice part
about it is that you own your heat
