Mulvey has filed for election to the office of Judge of Department No. 2, Clackamas County Dis trict Court, an additional Ju dicial position created by the 1965 Legislature. Mulvey had formerly served as District Judge pro tern by appointment of the Chief Justice of the Ore gon Supreme Court. Mulvey has practiced law In Clackamas County for the past 27 years except for 40 months service with the Army during World War n. He has served on the Criminal Law Commit tee of the Oregon State Bar Association and was twice elec ted as President of the Clacka mas County Bar Association by the attorneys of the County. The attorney has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Marylhurst Col lege, as Exalted Ruler and Dis trict Deputy of the Elks Lodge and as Trustee of the Oregon State Elks Association. He was instrumental In establish ing the Elks Eye Clinic for Children, conducted In connec tion with the University of Ore gon Medical School in Portland.
