Ambulance Delay. I|Report Explained A recent comment in a local column of The -Sandy Post told of an apparent three hour delay in the arrival of an ambulance to a mountain area residents home recently. In a telephone conversation this week with Tom Cutsforth, Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff, he ex plained that the delay could not tie considered the blame of any am'julance company. Problems of communication by telephone on the mountain on that particular day prevented contact with Mt. Hood Am bulance right away. State Police contacted Oregon City Am - bulance who went to the location which they understood the need to tie. However, the names of roads In the mountain area have some duplications and the am- bulance headed for the forest road of the number given. As it developed this was the wrong locality and it was later that the right area was found. In the meantime ML Hood Am bulance received word of the need and five minutes later were at the scene and rushed the patient to the Gresham Gen eral Hospital escorted by Sgt. Cutsforth who arrived right be hind the ambulance. DRAPERIES there any reason why draperies can’t come down over electric baseboard heaters?
