She had a wonderful time, and was sorry she had to leave so soon, but decided that she would still rather live in Oregon. Leona Purdy has opened the Hill-Top Cafe again. It is open every day but Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is wonderful to see the lights on at the Hill-Top again, and I know that most of the mountain will be in at one time or another. Love those pies! Now I can catch upon that hour’s sleep that I lost last summer. Got my clock set back to where it be longs and have been enjoying every minute of it. I hope next year that they will leave the time alone. Seems to me that if people want to go to work an hour early that they should do that and leave the time alone. I might as well get my other gripe in while I’m griping. Now they will try to shove a sales tax down our throats. The idea may be OK, but they plan to leave us stuck with all the other taxes we pay already. Oh well, it remains to be seen. But I am “agin” it. There were five tables of dup licate bridge at the Mt.
