They had guests, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dubin, of Worchester, Mass., and they were out a 'golfing. Dubin hit a ball into the lake, when lo and behold, out it pop ped, onto the green. This is the second time it has happen ed to guests of the Jacksons. Harry Jackson also celebrat ed his birthday a week ago. Congratulations to you Harry, and let me in on your secret of the fourth hole. How many times have you driven along the north road fro Brightwood and noticed this sign: PROBOLOBOBEESTA- BOOPS. It happens to be the entrance to Bertha and Roy Probst’s home. In all that conglomeration of letters you will find their last name. It seems when Roy was in school, they called him: Pro-bo-lobo-beestaboops. Isn’t it easy when you break it down. Many time I have stopped and tried to figure it out. and thanks to Bertha and Roy the solution is here. Elsie Creighton is back in the hospital, but should be home and doing O.K. when you read this. We took a couple of days and went down to the beach. You sure have to travel a long ways to see folks who live in the nearby city. Who should we run into hut Rachel and Harry Wright, former owners of the Sandy Fo. d Center, and bowl ing buddies of long standing. They were going fishing on the Siletz at the same time we were. When last we saw them they had caught nothing. I caught a very small flounder, which I gave to a man who seemed much more eager to clean it than I did. It was quite cold, and we wore coats all the time, so it was quite a shock to come home to a heat wave.
