Thursday, April 4. 1963 (Sec. î) Sandy (Ore.) Poet Louise Hallam came home from a winter's vacation in Palm Springs, only to find the winter just arriving. She hoped she had missed it. Del and Margaret Howard are on a trip to Florida and way points. An awful lot of men are going to look much improved when Del returns so they can get their hair cut. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Lepp. of Brightwood, had a fire last week but saved the most of the house. Just part of the roof over the kitchen received the worst. I am sure that they only made one of each of them— huge affairs with lots of plumes, one with two huge birds perched atop it. Have to be seen to be believed.
