To The Editor:
As the driver of School District No. 46 Bus, no. 3
which was involved in an accident Monday afternoon, Febr
uary 18, I wish to thank the wonderful neighbors'in the
vicinity of the accident for the help they volunteered.
The youngsters on the bus should also be praised for
the courage and poise they showed and the orderly way in
which they left the bus after the incident.

If there is anything this scribe fears above or beyond
being late for breakfast or not being present at the after
noon coffee hour, it's being at Mrs. Andersen's disposal
when spring house cleaning starts. First taking down the
curtains, carrying out the rugs, hanging them on the wire
out in the yard, then belaboring them with a stick or any
thing else that comes handy. You see, the stick and I are
taking the place of the electric carpet sweeper, our main
objective is to see to it that no bug nor hidden microbe
escapes our bombardment with the stick.
Then there is the ''going over" the woodwork with a
nice soft cloth. I talked Mrs. Andersen out of varnishing the
doors, mainly because I forgot to buy the stuff at the Sandy
paint store the other day. Then come the final ordeal, that
of hanging the blind curtains. Ever try to hang one? How is
it you always get 'em crooked?
Then when you try to pull them down they won't
ud9e or ,f they do, they fly up and roll up at one end of
he rod. Verily I say unto you, there's where your Sunday
school training really pays off.
Ross Andersen,
