The bride chose a steel blue
tailored suit and wore an orchid
corsage for a wedding trip to
California. The Valentines will
make their home in Vernonia
after a brief honeymoon.

Couple In Vancouver
Rites December 10
A double ring ceremony at
Vancouver, Wash., united Miss
Marjorie Jean Gregson, daugh­
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Gregson, of Boring, and Robert
A. Brown, of Dayville, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Brown, of
Tygh Valley.
The wedding was performed
by the Rev. C. W. Cutler on
December 10th at 2 p.m.
The bride was attired in a
navy blue suit with gray acces­
sories and a corsage of yellow
rose buds. She was attended by
Mrs. David Huskey who wore a
navy blue suit with black ac­
cessories and a corsage of pink
carnations.
Howard Kinzey of Wamic was
best man.
A reception was held at thej1
home of the bride’s parents in
Boring following the ceremony.
Mrs. Georgfe Hoar was in charge
of the wedding cake and Mrs.
C. L. Gregson was in charge of
the guest book.
Out-of-town guests were Mr.
and Mrs. Alfred Brown and Mr.
and Mrs. Kinzey of Tygh Val­
ley, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas May­
er and daughter, Mary, and Mrs.
Mary Mayer, all of Portland.
The bride attended Boring
grade school and [Sandy high
School and formerly was em­
ployed at the Clackamas county
bank. The bridegroom attend­
ed Tygh Valley grade school,
and Dufur and Prineville high
schools. He entered the service
in 1945 and was attached to
the paratroopers and military
police.
The couple will make their
home at Dayville, Oregon.
