' The Mt. Hood Aerial tramway, long considered one of
the outstanding developments-toward making The Moun­
tain area the vacation land of the Northwest, is progressing
on schedule, according to Dr. J. Otto George, president of
the Mt. Hood Aerial Transportation company, builders of
the tramway.
The Skiway, may go into operation Labor Day of thisyear.
The towers, jacks, cables, and other equipment finished
during the winter months, are now on the site ready for
