mony June 26 in Gresham.
Mrs. Karlen is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Gillham and
Mr. Karlen is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. John R. Karlen, Sr. Both
families are of Boring.
Bethel Baptist church, decorat

mony performed by Rev. John
Magoon. The bride was given in
marriage by her father, she wore
a white lace dress with a finger
tip veil and carried a nosegay
of pale pink roses. Her maid of
honor, Kathleen Ruth Gillham,
and her bridesmaids, Eunice Hall
and Dorothy Faye Searls, wore
gowns of pink and blue and car
ried bouquets of roses and del
phiniums.
Fred Karlen, Jr., was best man,
and ushers were Ray Searls and
Adolph Amstad Jr
. A reception was held in the
East Milwaukie Community Club
house with Mrs. Edna Amstad,
Mrs. Marjorie Feusi, Mrs. Emil
Karlen, Mrs. Fred Karlen, and
Miss Mary Ellen Nydegger as
sisting.
The couple left for a trip to
Wyoming through Yellowstone
National Park. The bride wore a
gray suit with white accessories
and a gardenia. They will live in
Sandy on their return about
July 11.

have just been completed and
installed in the Sandy Baptist
Chapel by the congregation. Rev. |

chapel has been finished, new
lights have been installed and
new knotty pine wainscoating
and harmonizing pews have
given a finishing touch to the
church.
TRULLINGER WINS DEGREE
OREGON CITY Dr. and Mrs.
Dan P. Trulllnger have returned
to Oregon City where he is
Clackamas county health officer.
Dr. Trullinger was granted a
master's degree in public health
by the University of Minnesota
this month. He had been on leave
of absence since Dec. 1. Dr. and
Mrs. Trullinger were married
while he was in Minnesota.
