Speaking of “putting It over” it does seem that the contribu
tor of the article in this morning's Oregonian "Patter of the
Prep:.” column should obtain the two sides to any story before
criticizing Sandy for lack of good sportsmanship in the Milwau
kie-Sandy difficulties.
The Milwaukie-Sandy controv rsy has been going on for seve
ral years and when Sandy decided to let bygones be bygones
and meet Milwaukie on their own floor the least Milwaukie
could have done was to “play the game fair.”
When "discretion is the better part of valor,” it’s a wise lead
er who knows enough to ‘ pick up his marbles” and go home.
