SISTER VISITS Mrs. Sadie Gunsolus of B r o o k i n g s , sister of Josie Forty, spent last week In Port Orford. TO SPEND SUMMER Coming to spend the summer at their home on Coast Guard hill are Mrs. Roy Graven and children from Seattle, Wash. Graven brought them down and then returned to his work In the Washington city. VISITS SON Mrs. Erma Hague of Port Orford has gone to Walla Walla to visit her son, Jack Short, and family. They are plan ning to take the boat trip to Canada, leaving August 2. HERE FOR JUBILEE Mr. and Mrs. BrooksWagner from Dallas wereln Port Or ford for the Jetty Jubilee. Their children had been visit ing here for the last two weeks and they took them home. VISITS MARSHES Miss Hazel Hofsess from Crescent City, Calif., visited at the Blaine Marsh home from July 2 to 6. Mrs. Robert Thomas went to Drain to attend the wedding of their niece, Miss Terry Thom a s, and while there attended the Golden Wedding reception for old friends, Mr. an Mrs. H. A. Cool. TO PORTLAND Mrs. Cecil Colson and daugh ter, Rhonda, went to Portland following the parade on Friday. Mrs. Walter Rice of Ashland are the grandparents. IN RECRUIT TRAINING Seaman Recruit John Harold Hatmaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest C. Hatmaker, Langlois, is now taking recruit training at the Naval Training Center, San Diego, Calif. He enlisted June 20 through the Coos Bay Navy Recruiting Station. He Is a 1969 graduate of Pacific High School. VISIT HARMS Mr. and Mrs. A. W. DINNER GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. J oe Kane of Blythe, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tucker of Myrtle Point w ere dinner guests at the home of Mr. and M rs. Clarence Brooks of Langlois on Tuesday. The Kanes are houseguests of the Tuckers and on Sunday the three fam ilies had a crab feed at the Tuckers. On July Four th the Tuckers, Brooks and Kanes had a picnic at Humbug Park where the Tuckers and Kanes have parked their trail ers for the weekend. People attended this affair from all the Western state and brought their rock displays. The special tour for this session was on the Warm Springs Reservation where they dug rock specim ens. Brenda Barklow stayed with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Sypher, while her par ents w ere gone. SISTER VISITS V isitors last week from Fall Creek at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. T.
