The men of the group went deep sea fishing and Mr. Schu- lack,who is district manager of the Pacific Hide and Fur Com­ pany from Great Falls, M ont., caught an unusual star fish. It had many extra tentacles which were brittle and would snap off when it was brought out of the water.The colors were also very different. This,was the first ocean trip for the visitors, and since the water was very choppy they had a very interesting experience even though they caught no fish. They were glad it was possible to have two cars to represent their organization. The club's annual picnic was held at Humbug Park last week and a wonderful time was en­ joyed with "more food than you can imagine" on the table at noon. Several Senior Citizens from Bandon came down to enjoy the picnic with the local group. The next regular meeting will be anjuly 21,at the Legion Hall in Pert Orford beginning with potluck at 6 p. m.
