P astor Daniel Hager narrated the story’, and Mrs. Virgil Libby directed the pantomime. M rs. Robert Meyer had charge of the costuming, assisted by Sandra Calhoun. M rs. Meyer also had charge of recitations that were a part of the program along with the Junior choir and g irls’ trio, directed by Ken Nelson. Robert Meyer had charge of the lighting for the program. The Langlois-Port O r f o r d Lions clubs and auxiliary had their annual Christm as party at Whalens Friday night with about 50 present. The mass w a s celebrated b y the Rev. Jam es Crunican, associate pas­ tor of St. A lice. The Rev. W il­ liam Mai, Langlois Community Church, t h e bride's minister, was present in the church sanc­ tuary and gave his blessing to the young couple a t the close of the mass. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Geer of Langlois are the parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Conser of Junction City. Mr. Geer gave his daughter in m arriage at the 5 p. m. service. She was attired in a floor-length gown of C hantilly lace over taffeta. The overskirt was of chiffon o v e r taffeta and the bodice featured long lily point sleeves. The elbow length veil, of illusion fell from a white s a t i n rose-shaped headpiece trim m ed w ith seed pearls. The bride's bouquet was of yellow rosebuds. Honor attendant for her sister was Donna C hesselet She wore a sleeveless r o u n d neckline dress of yellow brocade satin w i t h high w aist and bow in back. The skirt was floor-length and she wore long w hite gloves and carried a bouquet of white carnations and yellow roses. Bridesmaids, dressed like the honor attendant, were Sharon M anicke and Sharon Strain. Miss Joyce Geer, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Arnold "Skip" Tracer was best m an and groomsmen were Don­ ald Tracer and Paul Griffith. Clinton Smith, Mr. and M rs. Ira Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Del- bert Neal, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Weir, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Keel­ e r and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wills. It was announced that the auxiliaries from Gold Beach and Bandon have been Invited to the Jan. 23 meeting and installation of new members In the Cedar Room of Orfords. Douglas Conser w a s j u n i o r groomsman. Ushers were Dale Sargent and Ronald Schneider. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Geer wore a lim e green dress with m atching coat and hat and brown accessories. The groom's m other was attired in a dark blue shift dress, trim m ed w ithw hite, and white accessor­ ies. Both Mrs. Geer and Mrs. Conser wore corsages of white carnations. Frances Smith of Port Ctfard sang and was accom panied in the songs and at the organ by Ruby H atm aker of Langlois. At the reception in the parish hall, Mrs. Gary Nelson, sister of the groom, presented the guest book. Serving were Linda Brady a n d Collen Couch, Carolyn Couch, M arian Dent, Mrs. Ar- leigh Tracer and Sandy N ich­ olls. Caring for the gifts were Pauline Lindsay and Jeanie Lin- sey. Decorations a t the church and the parish hall were bouquets of gladiolus and yellow roses and white carnations. For a honeymoon trip to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe the new m atron wore a brown and orange checked s u i t , orange shell and brown accessories. The couple will be at home after Dec. 10, in Springfield, where b o t h are em ployed by Citizen's Bank. The bride is a graduate of Langlois high school. The groom was graduated f r o m Junction City high school and attended University of Portland and Lane Com munity College.
