This cable will connect with the Bandon- Coos Bay microwave system to furnish reliable long distance circuits between Langlois and the Coos Bay toll center. These circuits will be placed in s e r­ vice coincident with the new Langlois Central Office, the night of Jan. 20, 1968. Another project underway places aerial cable south on Highway 101 to 11th Street in Bandon, east on 11th to Rosa Road, then south on Rosa Road to Auction Road. Burled cable will be placed on J. J. M orris Road, east of Highway 101. Existing facilities are being augmented with buried cable on Highway 101 from the Ranger Station to Croft Lake Road. The third project calls for burled cable along old Highway 42 from Bear Creek Road to Lampa Mt. Road, and south for one-half mile on Lampa Mt. Road. Th» fourth addition will burjfc cable on Riverside Drive and Highway 101 north to Seven Devils Road and north on Seven Devils to approximately two and three-quarter m i l e s beyond Randolph Road. The local exchange cables will allow the company to re­ duce rural lines (10 party) to a maximum of five parties per line. There will also be ad­ equate facilities for those de­ siring higher grades of service and provide for future service demands.
