IN HAWAII Karen Comara returned from Close friends and relatives were in attendance as vows were repeated and rings ex changed in a double rin g can dlelight ceremony at the Lake Grove C hristian Church con firm in g the union of D aryl R o t- Ison and Adella Wlechmann of Port O rford. D r. Anderson, professor of Christian educa tion at Lewis and C lark Col lege, officiated at the lovely ceremony. The b rid e ’ s attendants were Marcia Gabbert of H illsboro and Anita Yoder of Canby. Del mar Robison of Coos Bay, twin brother of the groom, and E l don Wlechmann, brother of the bride from Portland, attended the groom. The bride was radiant in a white crepe floor-length gown with long sleeves, which she made, with a chapel tra in of acelan lace trim m ed in crepe and wearing an Imported man tilla of Spanish lace, fingertip length. Her pearls were a g ift of the groom and her bouquet was of pink and white b ride's roses with a cascade of white satin ribbon. Miss Gabbert wore a moss green crepe floor-length fo r mal, ca rrie d one pink rose and wore a pink lace m antilla. The bridesm aid, M iss Yoder, wore a pink matching fo rm a l and also ca rrie d one pink rose. Miss Rosa M itch e ll, a fo rm e r classmate at Pacific High, was organist. The mother of the brid e wore a green lace dress with pink accessories and the groom’ s mother wore a gown of beige brocade with brown accessor ies. Both mothers had pink and white rosebud corsages. A white knit suit with pearl trim and pink accessories was chosen by M rs. Robison fo r her going-away outfit following the wedding supper which was held at the F ire sid e Room in P o rt land after the ceremony. Both M r. and M rs. Robison are 1962 graduates of Pacific High. She is a graduate of Emanuel School of Nursing in Portland and is a senior at Lewis and C lark. The groom is a student at Portland State College, majoring in business adm inistration. The couple are at home at 4923 S. W. 45th In Portland. HOUSEGUEST M iss Pauline H ill from De catur, 111., Is a houseguest at the H ilterbrand home in Lang lois. She has been in Hawaii visitin g M r. and M rs. Jim (Ioan) Haga. Her present plan is to go to Salem May 23 to v is it friends and leave fo r her home the 26th. She brought some "double sword’ - tro p i cal fish as a g li. fo r the H il- terbrands and they are plan ning to have th e ir species and other unusual tropical fish to sell. Harley H ilterbrand is in the U niversity of Oregon Medical Hospital in Portland fo r a phy sical. He hopes to be home in two weeks. rN MYRTLE POINT M r. and M rs. Lester Hig gins took her parents, M r. and M rs. Geo. Edwards, all of Langlois, to M yrtle Point fo r a drive on Mother's Day. VISIT DAUGHTER M r. and M rs. Lester Thorp, worthy matron and patron,hon ored th e ir star points that eve ning and were in turn honored by officers and members of the chapter. M r. and M rs. Thorp w ill celebrate th e ir Golden Wedding A nniversary, May 21. A money tree was presented to them and a cake.
