And '•when the fullness of the tim e was corns, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law . to redeem them that w ere under the law , that * • might receive the adoption of sons." (Oalatlaas 4 j4 -4 ) No wonder there was r»)oteii«i The Saviour of Siondrs had eomel The V irg in M ary herself ex« Ofessed her Joy In thia way: " M y soul doth magnify the Lord, and my s p irit hath re)olced In Cod my Saviour." (Luke 1:4«- 47) Though she was chosen by God to provide the body for the Incarnate Son of Ood, yet she, like the rest of us, seeded a Saviour from sin. Men and women of all generations and from all walks of life have lik e wise found true Joy sAd peace through receiving the Lord Je sus C hrist as th e ir personal Saviour from sin. t h is has not been k passing fancy, for th eir very character and th eir p u r pose In life have been' Changed. They have experienced the truth of the words spokefl by the Lord Jesus: " I am come that they might have life , and that they might have It more abundantly." (John 10:10) , L We may have thls.safhe Joy today. It does not cfift*' through the exchanging of g lh a, nor by the perform ing of religious ceremonies, nor by seif»effort or works of our o *n . It Is given rather to thoss who admit their owh sinfulness, and who penitently receive tha> gifts of sternal life through tpM r Sa viour, the Lord Jesus C h rist, confessing that for theft there le no other hope fo r forgive ness and redemption. " F o r God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who soever belleveth In Him should hot perish, but have everlasting lif e ." (John 3:14) "B u fs a m a n y as received Him , to them gave He power Io becotai th e sons Of God, eked lo them that be lieve on His nam e." (John I; 12) " F o r by grace are ye laved throufh faith; and that not of ym iraelvat: It la the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
