Present prob­ lems are shortage, staining of laurdry, poor taste, odors and high bacterial count. The new system Is essential to prevent deterioration of the community. The system w ill consist of an Infiltration type Intake on the Hogue H lver, a six-inch trans­ mission line, storage re s e r­ v o ir, dlstrltiutlon lines, fire hydrants and meters. Funds for the Insured loan were provided by the North Shore National Hank of Chicago. Reflecting the state’s Indus­ tria l growth, the 1966 edition has 374 pages and Is by far the largest yet published of the biennial directories.
