The rites were performed by
the Rev. D r. Vance Webster at
2 o'clock. A light blue and
white spiral candelabra with
white gladiolus, carnations and
holly decorated the chapel. The
candles were lit by Cindy Ja­
cobs, 1 0 -year-old niece of the
bride, who was gowned In a
short peacock blue velveteen
dress, gathered at a high waist­
line with a white square collar
and cuffs and a corsage of white
carnations and h o l l y at the
w rist.
Guy Aydelott was soloist.
As she was escorted to the
altar by her father, Karen was
wearing a white velvet mod­
ified em pire style gown, with
pearls and frosted bugle Iteads
marking the em pire line and the
border of the kabuki sleeves
with a detachable watteau train.
A crown of pearls held her
silk tulle veil and she carried
a cascade of white carnations
and holly.
In r o m a n t i c tradition, the
bride's "something old" was an
1891 English sixpense worn in
her shoe.
She was attended by her sis­
te r, M rs. Theodore Jacob of
Tillam ook, as matron of honor.
She was attired In a modified
em pire gown with Ixxllce of pea­
cock blue velevet and a floor
cock blue velvet and a floor
length skirt of white crepe and
carried a tiouquet of white c a r­
nations and holly.
M ark Blacker of Moscow,
Ida., brother of the bridegroom,
was best man. Sharing ushering
duties were Douglas McCool,

Kappa, he Is currently attend­
ing the University of Oregon
where he has received h ls M .A .
Degree and is now studying for
his doctorate In mathematics.
