While It may be a matter of conjecture as to how th o s e thousands of fingerlings enter- ad the lake, one must accept the fact that they really are pres ent. Ws believe that the answer to why fishing Is of such an unsuccessful nature here In the lake Is due to the fact that those fingerlings are furnishing the trout, as well as the bass, their principal food supply.
