Tragedy Ends Family Vacation Here Thursday As Son Dies In Fall The vacation of a Kama* fam ily ended in traaedy here Thursday when a Itl-year-old youth plumred to hl« death 150 feet down the west side r f Humhuv Mountain between I I and I I 30 a m. Tlte victim was Jeffery John Crook ifi. son of M r and Mr». Richard R Crook of Augusta Kan The fam ily had stooped to camp at Humbue State Park, sis miles south of Port Orford. Je ff a-d his brothers, Chris. 15. and Sim . 13, went for a hike alony the beach and rocks at the foot of the mountain. Acording to a report, they became concerned when they noticed the tide coming in and decided to clim b up the rocks and back over to the beach.
