As the year draws to an end,
t h e Seniors begin to plan for
graduation and the future. Since
Pacific is a school with many
traditions and customs, this is
one of the more active times of
the school year.
One r ich custom is the annual
Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet.
The Prom and Banquet are giv­
en eachyearby the junior class
in honor of the graduating sen­
ior clast.
May 1, was the date on which
the prom and banquet were held.
T h e banquet was held in the
multipurpose room of the Port
Orford grade school from 6:00
to 8:00 p. m. The prom was held
later that evening from 9 to 12
p. m. in the Pacific high gym.
At the banquet, the invoca­
tion was given by Bill Armstrong,
