by Pally Elli* MOTHER'S TEA The fourth annual Mother'» Tea and "Fashions on Tour", was held Friday at Pacific. The tea wa> given for the Mothers of tha school district by the Future Homemaker« of A m e r i c a and the Homemaking classes. The review was under the dir e c t i o n of Mrs. Judy Harrison, Pacific's Home Ec teacher. COTTON AND CORD DANCE Colleen Breedlove and Bob Bartlett were queen and king of the Cotton and Cord dance spon sored by the Clrls' Athletic As sociation Friday evening at Pa cific. Members of the court were* Mary Woodworth and Rod Dunn; Cheryl Severn» and Larry Bow man, Sandy Dearborn and Frank Smith. Refreshments of cotton candy and punch were served by Mr. and Mrs. L. Bates and Marilyn Hundberg, C. A. A. president. Chaperons were Mr. and Mrs. Bates, Mr. ami Mrs. Everett Har rington, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Harrison, Mrs. Jo Ann Cribble and Mrs. Evert Mills. JUNIOR—SENIOR BANQUET AND PROM HELD Blue Hawaii was the theme at the Junior-Senior banquet and prom held Saturday, April 13, at I'a. ilu High. The banquet was held In the balcony from 61 30p.ra. to 8:00 p. m. Following the benediction by Bob Sweet, Junior class vice- president, tne president Bonnie Jensen gave the welcome Prin cipal John Wahl following witn the farewell speech which was responded to by the Senior class president, Russell Wright. Hawaiian Music was played while twelve sophomore girls, (bested In colorful mumuus and Iris served tropical dream, game of the Jungle, d ic e d bamboo, golden (beams, taro cake, 11- Hkoi and papaya, coconut pie, b e a c h pebbles and Hawaiian nectar for dinner. After the banquet Frank Smith, read the Senior class wills; the girls sextet followed with two vocal selections; Bob Bx'Jett, senior class vice-president, read the e lse prophecy. In conclusion everyone Joined In singing Auld Lang Syne. PROM The protn following the ban quet at 9:00 p. in. was held In the gymnasium whichwas dec o r a t e d In shades of blue and white with lighted candles car rying out the t h e m e of Blue Flaw all. The guests entered through a blue pathway, passing by a wa- terpool with green foliage and Hawaiian figurines in the back ground, while the talented Med- fordFuller orchestra playedsoft Hawaiian music from the grass hut.
