Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hofsess and family of Fairview spent the night on Saturday at the home of his mother, Mrs Hazel HofS68S Mr and Mrs Bill Winter and baby daughter of Oakland. Calif., visited this week with Lois Williams. Mrs. Winter is a sister of Lois Dewey Hall returned from the State Fair on Sunday. He was a member of the Curry County Livestock Judging team. Other members were Curtis Ryan and Steve Maclnness, both of Ophir Mr. and Mrs John Orr of Coos Bay were visitors on Sun day at the home of Mrs Mat- tie Mosher. The Charles Jensen family were pleasantly surprised on Friday evening with the arrival from Portland of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bekebrede and daughter, Shawn Marie Mrs. Harry Clarke and Mrs JoAnne Robicheau spent Satur day visiting with the Jack Ber nard family in Brookings. Mr. and Mrs. Chet Elkngse, of North Bend were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs Ralph Hall. Hay Deets, J N. Walker, and Bud Laub returned from deer hunting in Eastern Oregon on Friday morning.
