Mr and Mrs. Joe Oombeat
left Monday morning for Salem
to pick up their daughter Judy,
who has been there for the last
two weeks They will also visit
their son, Tom and family,
while there.

Among the many guests ar­
riving this summer at the Ari­
zona Ranch, were Mr and Mrs
Hughie Tweedy of Montrose.
Iowa, brother of Jim Tweedy
They arrived last Thursday and
plan to be here until Monday.
Other guests arriving last
week were the Rev and Mrs
C. E Chandler and Connie of
Winfield Iowa, future in-laws
of Betty Tweedy,
Betty is engaged to their son,
Bernard, who is in the Air Force
stationed in France They ux>k
Betty with them when they left
Tuesday for San Jose, Calif, to
visit friends

ENJOY VACATION
Mr. and Mrs Tom Petok and
children just returned from a
week’s vacation.
They visited with Mrs. Petok’s
brother and family in Tacoma.
Wn . spent two busy days at
the World's Fair and then jour­
neyed on to Victoria by way
of Anacortes They returned by
the way of Port Angeles.
Sharon Doyle of Roseburg
went along as their guest.

Preparations are under way
for the benefit game sponsored
by the Gold Beach-Port Orford
unit of the A.C.B L.. to be play­
ed at the Port Orford school
Friday, July 27. at 8 p.m ., with
all proceeds going to the Mul­
tiple Sclerosis Fund.
All bridge players are invited
to play. Ladies are to bring a
dozen cookies
The American Contract Bridge
League is now using IBM equip­
ment and a number assigned to
each member
Members are asked to write
the number on their 1962 mem­
bership card and also notify the
club secretary what that num­
ber is.
