B oth Mrs. Honeywell and Dr. H ouk a re interested in family history, of which Mrs Honeywell h a s Bible records, pictures and o th e r exam ples going back in to | th e 1700’s in Pennsylvania and O hio. Dr. Houk Lx com piling d a ta of th e Houk and S hephard fam ilies and has traced th e ir a n cestry bark to pre-R evolutionary times. B oth are direct descendants of W illiam Shephard Houk. Civil W ar veteran and fa th e r of a large family. T hey are in te re s t ed in hearing from anyone of th e I Houk ancestry in th is area. M rs.. Honeywell said.
