ganized at the Southern Oregon
Normal School located here. Its
members being composed of stu
dents from those two counties

Tom Wallace Dies
Tom Wallace, well known mining
prospector of this section died sud
denly of heart trouble, last Monday
while at the mining camp of John
R. Smith on Rock Creek, north of
Agness. Funeral services were held
at Agness Thursday, with interment
at Gold Beach. Mr. Wallace was
well known in Port Orford having
mined on the Middle Elk for years,
and at one time owning an Intel*
