Marlon county is the champion
amendment maker for bills up for
anal passage; 16 so far this season.
Only one call of the house, so far,
which makes all members answer
roll call; a record, but wait until
the hot bills come up—then all the
lawmakers will be put on the spot
by call of the house. . . . The house
hasn't worked one Saturday, but
the senate has worked the last
two, and from now on it looks like
work every Saturday for both
houses; then a little later night
sessions.
NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS
Sec. 20-p317-Oregon Code: Every
person owning or keeping any dog
over the ago of eight (8) months
within the state of Oregon shall,
not later than March 1 of each
year or within thirty (30) days af­
ter he becomes owner or keeper of
such dog, procure from the county
clerk of the county in which said
person resides a license for such
dog by paying to the county clerk
a license fee, and the fee for such
license shall be determined by the
county court.
The County Court has set the
fee for male and spayed female
shall be $1.00 and the fee for fe­
male be $1.50 up to March 1st,
1941.
