Tichenor Chides Red Brothers Sea Border Lumber Company Organized DENMARK CLUB CALLS SPECIAL MEETING A group of six men, all expet 1- enced In logging and lumber pro duction, have recently organized a coperatlve lumber company to be known as the Sea Border Lumber Co. and have constructed a mill and started sawing lumber on the Dew ey place near Sixes. Both fir and cedar will be cut, they state, and sales will be made through the Smith Products Co. of Bandon and the Trans-Pacific Co. of Port Orford. Those interested in the new ven- ture are Henry Carver, W. S. Kelly, E. B. Merefield, Archie Cotter, Del bert Cotter and J. W. Patterson. The Denmark Woman's , . which met last Thursday aftn..v__ with Mrs. Dolly Sabin decided to hold a special meeting on Wednes day afternoon, May 5. at the home of Mrs. Eva Donaldson to make fin al arrangements for club attend ance, program and transportation relative to the county club women's meeting to be held at Harbor on May 12. Strain brothers recently reported ly caught two large police dogs in the work of slaughtering their sheep on a range east of Langlois. Walter Strain shot one of the ani mals on the spot, but the other one led the hunters a long chase before he finally was shot as he was mak- | ing back to the former Raymond Britten place to which he had been followed earlier in the day. In this one attack the 2 dogs allegedly kill ed 28 head of sheep and lambs. The dogs had been left'behind when the Britten family moved from thy neighborhood recently, the Strain brothers state.
