ging in her garden at Paris, Ky.,
before daylight. She was not
noted for industrious habits, and
therefore he couvertly watched
her until she brought out a box
containing $20,000, the proceeds
of a recent bank robbery.
The treasurer of the Illinois State
'Hospital paid the wages of employ­
ees in Mexican dollars which lie
bought at a discount. The profit
of this was $10 and the loss was a
position worth $1,200 a year.
