The sand mines are still attract ing some utlent ion. We saw some Crescent City gentlemen on their way to these mines a few duvs since. This region is beiug p re t ty thoroughly prospected this season, but I bolitivo there is no machinery at work yet, and it is impossible to say to what extent these mines are going to pay.
