Dayton, Yamhill County, Oregon, Wednesday, September 19,1928 Community Auction and Corn Show is Proposed It hus been proposed to the Day ton Chamber of Commerce to hold u community auction and corn show sometime in the early part of Octo ber. The plan so far has received considerable support but Dayton busi ness men are desirous of determining the amount of support to be counted upon from farmers. It is requested from any farmer: who have a few pigs, a cow or horse or any thing that would be a good seller at the auction to confer with George Jackman or John Black. Any one who would be willing to assist with a corn show, either by display or helping with the arrangement of the show room is requested to see William Schell at the Dayton Con fectionery.
