Under this law coin mercial travelers were compelled to pay a motor vehicle license fee 50 per cent tn excess of the license fee as­ sessed against other vehicles. The new bill In addition to repeal­ ing the peddlers' license tax, fixes the last half of the year for securing mo­ tor vehicle licenses as of June 1. Un­ der the present law the last half of the year begins July 1. The last half license fee under the new act would be based on 60 per cent of the total license fee.
