Mr. and Mrs. Ray Baxter and fam- ily spent Thanksgiving with Mr. Bax ter’s father, John Baxter and family. A daughter from Tillamook, Mrs. Ringle, was also home. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Vernon and two daughters, Esther and Berle, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Grabenhorst and family of Heas- sntdale on Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Dorsey had as their guest for Thanksgiving Dr. and Mrs. Goodrich and family. Mrs. May Reid, Miss Lena Elxwiler and Mr. Lyman Sands, of Albany. Charlie Masterson was down from doverdale Sunday on business. Mr. Masterson likes it line and it seems hat the change has done wonders or him, he feels so much better. Mr. and Mrs. Critter spent Thanka- jiving with Mrs, Critxer's mother, Mrs. May, who lives in Oregon City. He was ac companied by his brother Ed. and “ wife and cousin, Little Fern Gubser. Clayton and Fern were cut by flying glass quite badly and passing motor- U ists brought them back to Newberg, I where medical aid was given, and ’ H quite a number of stitches being taken in Fern’s forehead. Mr. and Mrs. Richards escaped with bruises. A disappointment was felt that they were not able to make the comtem- plated trip, but thanks that it was no worse, as both cars were wrecked. There were two men in the other car but neither one was hurt. Mr. and Mrs. Bartruff and family ok Thanksgiving dinner with his .rents at Middlegrove.
