discussing the budget hereinafter set out with the levying board, and
to vote on the proposition of levying a fpcial district tax

The lad its of the Dayton Civic Club
will give a one act play end vaudeville
stunts Thursday evening, Oct. 29, at the
opera bouse Tbe proceeds will be for
the benefit of the band stand.
The Rally Day programs at the
churches were well attended and
each Sunday School pre-ented a
fine entertainment.
A Troubled Conscience
Netice is hereby given to tbe legal
voters of School District No. 28, of Yam-
bill county. State of Oregon, that an
election will be held in said District at
tbe schoolhouse ou tbe 30th day of
October. 1925, at 8 p. m. o'clock in tlie
afternoon, to vote on the question of
increasing the amount of the tax levy
in said District for the year 1926 bv
more than six per cent over the amount
of such levy for the year immediately
preceding.
It is necessary to raise this additional
amount by special levy for the following
reasons:
Transportation of High School Pupils.
Insurance on busses.
Supplies for instruction.
Dated this sixth day of October, 1925.
