$2,000 BOND
George Stickney, former cashier of
the Carlton'State & Savings Bank, was
placed under arrest Thursday of last
week, on the charge of embezzlement
of more than $1800 from the funds of
the bank with which he has been con­
nected for eight years.
He was arraigned before Justice of
the Peace J. O. Rogers and placed
under $2060 bonds while awaiting the
action of the grand jury.
The alleged embezzlement consists < f
two-items, one of $1565.80 and the
other of $250.
