The Datyon Opera House was the
scene of a gay Washington's Birthday
Party last Friday evening when about
fifty people gathered to celebrate the
occasion.
The hall was appropriately
decorated with bunting and flnga. The
honors of the evening were awarded to
Mrs. Bert Robertson and Mr. Joe
Stuart. About midnight the doora open­
ed and Theodore and Paula Denson
entered, dressed as George and Martha
Washington, who led the grand march
to the dining tables, where delicious
refreshments were served by the
hostesses, Mrs. J. J. Den«on, Mra. H.
T. Wilson and Mrs. William S. U'Ren.
