Mrs. E. C. Oliphant was visiting her
grandmother, Mrs. Yoe, at the Frank
Spencer home in the Webfoot neighbor­
hood the first of the week.

guerite Oliphant attended church in
Newberg Sunday. After chureh Mrs.
Taylor took Marguerite to her school at
Mountain Top.
Aaron Scbellenberger and wife were
calling on friends in this vicinity Sun­
day evening.
Chas. Kaehold had the misfortune to
cut his arm quite badly a few days ago.
Arthur and Walter Zwick were pleas­
antly surprised on Friday evening when
about thirty friends arrived at their
home. The evening was spent in games
music and dancing. The music which
was furnished by Miss Carrie Zwick
and Messrs McDougall Peffer, Detmer-
ing and John Saylor was greatly apprec­
iated by all. At about midnight lunch­
eon was served by Mrs Zwick, assisted
by Mesdames Chalmers and Abdill.
After luncheon music was again enjoy­
ed until a late hour.

Mrs. Ray Morgariedge was a McMinn­
ville visitor Thursday.
Mrs. Geo. Christensen spent several
days last week in McMinnville with her
daughter, Mrs. Erlena Gorman, who
was operated on last Friday at the Mc-
Minnnille hospital.
The Pleasantdale Needlecraft Club
entertained the Kensington Needlecraft
laat Friday afternoon at the home of
Mrs. J. A. McFarlane. Refreshments
were served by the hostess assisted by
Mrs. Ralph Hadley and Miss Addie
Spooner. A pleasant afternoon was

Squires, Turner, E. Wilson, Foster,
Reichsteir, Morgeidge, Burlingham,
