The steamer Pomona on its re­
gular trip here last Friday took
out about seventy tons of mixed
freight including one hundred
and fity barrels of vinegar from
the D. E. & P. Co. plant, which
goes to show there is some busi­
ness being done in this town, via
the river route.
W. S. U’Ren and wife and J.
L. Stuart and wife motored to
Portland last Saturday afternoon
where they transacted some busi­
ness and visited relatives and
friends over Sunday.
Miss Eva Lee arrived at her
fathers home in this city from
Montana where she has been
spending the winter, A party
was held at the Lee home Sat­
urday in honor of her home com­
ing.
