I t would appear that Dayton baa been doing some little buaineee in tbe fru t line this season. Some weeks ago tbe Dayton Evaporating Company shipped a oar load of evaporated prunes to Portland, which was destined for tbe Eastern m arket. Week before lasttbe com pany ebipped a oar of evaporated apples to Seattle, and last weak they shipped three oars o f prunes to tbe East; to Council Bluffs, lows, and M ankato, Minnesota. Tbe Dayton Evaporating Company has a number of oar loads of evaporated fru it to ship. By tbe way, i t is conceded that they now have some of the finest evaporated apples ever turned out in this part of the uni verse. Beeidee what fru it tbe Dayton Evaporating Company has evaporated this season, other evaporators in this vicinity bave evaporated large quantities of fruit. L.
