near Dayton, Tuesday, December
4, 1900, EdwaM Poole. Deceased
was tiorn in London, England in
1825. He was married to Dortha
Herricx in 1854
Mr. and Mrs.
Poole came to Oregon twenty-two
years ago, and settled near Middle*
ton. From there they removed to
Dayton about 11 years ago. Two
weeKSuSince Mra Poole died

Ifisn Mr. Poole has been living on
his (arm 2 miles west of Dayton
alone On Monday Mr. Cain was
driving hy the pi <ce, when be atop
ped to see how Mr Pool was get­
ting along
He found the old gen­
tleman aicic and unable to wail on
himaelf. Mr Cain tonic him home
and cared for him as best they
could. He died early next morn­
ing, and was buried in Dayton cem­
etery, R ev. T. L. Jones officiating.
