Four Walls

Some have yet to listen
Some have yet to care
Do what they want
While dragging others down
Can they not see
See the troubles
Troubles they bring
Upon themselves
And those who choose
Choose to listen to the misguided
Misguided by friends
Misguided by teachers
Misguided by preachers
Misguided by text
Who can you trust
What do you know
Is it false; fejj
Is is fact
Time change
View change
What does your perspective show
Does it show you
Does it show others
Is it good
Is it bad
How do you know
How can you tell
But in the end
What really matters
That my friend is up to you
Four walls cracked and fading
Silver lining of pain and torment
A message simple and cruel
Fade into the forsaken where no living tread
Memory strong each moment remembered
Where once a home was strong
Now only shadows remain
Forgotten whispers of care and love
Forge anew the crumbling walls
Strength of pillars and devotion of love.
Where once resided pained memory
Now flows a home.

Vagrants sleep on the door steps.
The inside is beautiful, the outside is ancient.
They spare no expense, with all its adornments and gilded objects,
but We the poor keep being poor.
